Facial, Hand and Foot Reflexology works by stimulating reflex points and zones on the scalp, face, hands and feet to stimulate the brain. It is a gentle and non-invasive technique achieved by using the fingertips for pressure-point massage on scalp, face, hands and feet. These pressure-points are said to relate to different parts of our anatomy πŸ€²πŸ½πŸ‘£

Your feet contain a quarter of the bones in our entire bodies – in addition to many more various muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints.

Feet can be extremely vulnerable to injury and diseases that can affect the entire body. You may be experiencing pain in your feet, ingrown or discoloured skin/nails, corns, skin rashes, foot odour, foot injuries, broader health problems such as diabetes or arthritis, recurrent tripping or falling, problems fitting comfortably in your regular shoes; or if you notice swelling, lumps, or redness on your feet or legs.

My specific areas of interest in Podiatry are Diabetes, Neuropathy and Peripheral Vascular Disease. I qualified in 2003 at Southampton University, UK. Those University days were the days! So much learned, friendships forged and mulitdisplinary pathways formulated to help create results and positive outcomes. I want to provide that for you, in your treatment. A fulfilled healthcare experience, which encompasses a holistic approach to your Podiatric footcare and for your Mind - Body - Emotions - Energy connections.

I have found my passion is within Reflexology. Reflexology is a therapy that I find incredibly interesting and has instant benefits for holistic health. The feet speak volumes and tell us therapists what is occurring within the body. Reflexology is a therapy that balances the circulatory, endocrine, digestive, lymphatic, excretory and immune systems. It encourages elimination of toxins, releases endorphins (the body's natural painkillers) reduces stress, tension and revitalises energy. Reflexology is the perfect therapy for helping to keep the mind and body balanced and in harmony, promoting over alI health and well being.

I qualified in the UK, in 2005 with an VTCT World Class Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology qualification, using the Ingham Method of Reflexology. I have since trained with the Australian School of Reflexology 2018/19, qualifying with a Clinical Diploma in Advanced Reflexology. With an infatuating interest in Ayurveda - Science of Life - I have also trained with the London Centre of Indian Champissage - Kansa Vatki Foot massage. I have recently gained Facial Reflexology therapy as a treatment service available to you from The Australian School of Reflexology and Relaxation, in Victoria. If you are looking for peace, serenity and total relaxation, then Reflexology therapy is for you.

The oldest known documentation of Reflexology is a pictograph that was found in the tomb of an Egyptian physician named Ankmahor at Saqqara dating back to 2330 BC, which depicts patients having treatments done on their hands and feet
